During the Launching Party of OpenSuse 11.4 Debian and Gnome3 on 9 April 2011 at McDonald Ampang Park, we have discussed and finalized date and venue for Malaysia Open Source Conference 2011. The event will be held at Bayview Beach Resort, Batu Ferringi, Penang on 3 to 5 July 2011. The project will be lead by Project Director, Sharuzzaman Ahmat Raslan and Project Manager, Khairunnajah Abd Kadir.

This survey is intended to identify Open Source Software (OSS) certification awareness among ICT profession in Malaysia. We aim to produce a report of OSS Certification in Malaysia which will help us to understand the current situation and make a better decision in positioning ourself.
